Do you want to play in a classical instrumental ensemble or jazz band with your Lehigh friends? Come to the auditions for Wind Ensemble, Orchestra, and Jazz Groups this weekend!
You can sign up for an audition time slot by emailing Linda Ganus at lcg3@lehigh.edu with your time availability, or sign up in person at the Music Info Meeting on Thursday, August 24 at 11:45 in Zoellner 145.
WHERE: All instrumental auditioners meet in Zoellner Arts Center, Room 145 on Friday, Sunday, or Sunday depending on their instrument and ensemble they wish to audition for.
WHAT/WHEN:
All winds, brass and percussion auditioning for Wind Ensemble, Orchestra, and/or Jazz: Friday, August 25, from 11:00am - 4:30pm.
All strings auditioning for Orchestra: Sunday, August 27, from 4:30 - 7:30pm.
All jazz instruments: come to both the Friday general wind auditions and then to jazz placement seating on Monday, August 28, 4pm.
BRING:
Bring a short piece of your choice and your instrument, and play for our friendly, low-key faculty!
You'll play your piece, some brief scales, and possibly do a little sight reading.
